WAITE - Robert Waite - robert.waite@cibc.com

Greetings, My name is ROBERT WAITE of Toronto, Canada. I have a query regarding PHINEAS WAIT(e), born in Malden, MA July 15, 1749, died January 4, 1841 in Athol (but actually lived on the WAITE FARM in New Salem from early 1750's -- 1753-- until a boundary shift between New Salem and Athol in late 1820's put the farm in Athol rather than New Salem.) PHINEAS WAITE married Mehitable FOSTER Aug. 3, 178? in New Salem.   Phineas WAIT(e)'s gravestone still (as of three years ago) could still be found -- and read-- in the cemetery in New Salem.

I am trying to find out what happened to Phineas' father, Joseph WAIT(e), born Feb. 12, 1702 in Malden, MA and (supposedly) moved to New Salem about 1753.  Is there any record of his death in New Salem.  Also, I would be interested to know if there is any information on the children of PHINEAS WAIT(e) -- all born in New Salem -- Millicent WAITE b. Jan. 30, 1787; Joseph WAITE b. Jan. 17, 1789; Susanna WAITE born Feb. 15, 1791, and Lydia WAITE born Feb. 1, 1793.

WAITE - Mandi (McMullin) Lamb - justinmandi@msn.com

I am a descendent of Phineas WAITE of New Salem, Mass (born 16 Jul 1749 / died 4 Jan 1841).  Although, I don't have the last name of Waite because I come through his daughter and a couple of other daughters.  Anyway, I have hit a brick wall and would appreciate ANYTHING anyone can give me on his wives.  I am so confused.  I have seen Mehitable Foster (born 18 Nov 1755 in MA and married 3 Aug 1786), Eunis Smith (married 12 Aug 1795), Millicent Stratton (born 20 May 1755 and married either 3 Aug 1786 or 29 Sep 1786), I have even seen Milliscent Foster (which seems to be a combination of Millicent Stratton and Mehitable Foster).  Now I thought we came through Mehitable Foster who had a daughter named Millicent Waite (born 30 Jan 1787, MA) .  But I have also seen the same daughter with the same birth date under Millicent Stratton.  Does anyone know which wife Millicent Waite comes through?  I would love to solve this mystery.  Many family members have been perplexed over this for years.  PLEASE HELP!!!

My line:
Phineas Waite
daughter: Milliscent Waite
son:  Moses Curtis
son: Moses Monroe Curtis
daughter: Martha Irena Curtis
son:  Joseph Monroe Richardson
daughter:  LaRee Richardson
daughter: Susan Moody
daughter: Me

Thanks for all of your help.
